Fun Halloween house decorations!

One of the greatest things about Halloween is the unofficial start of the holiday season. Halloween is the start of fun decorations that many of us enjoy look at, whether it be during a walk around the neighborhood or taking a drive in your car. The best part? There’s lots of DIY projects or budget-friendly ideas that can make your front year look great without hurting your pocket.

  1. Carve a pumpkin! Ranging in size, color and shape you can select a pumpkin or several that will fit your budget. Let your imagination roll!
  2. Have old white sheets? Make a ghost…or three! Just like the kind we see in Charlie Brown’s “The Great Pumpkin,” you can cut out holes for the eyes and throw it over a small bush or plant in your yard. Feeling creative? Stuff it with pillow fluff, add and old broom stick and tie it all together for a more “pulled-together” look.
  3. Create Halloween cardboard cut-outs. Most of us have old boxes lying around the house. Put your artistic skills to work with scissors, paint, markers—whatever you can find—and create your own Halloween figures for your yard. You can also place these on doors, windows, mailboxes and more!
It really is up to how much you want to decorate because the options are endless. Whether you’ll be decorating or not, we hope everyone has a wonderful, but safe, Halloween!
